But it was so wonderfully laden with sentiment and so incredibly rare, that we just knew we had to make a mold of it so it could be shared with others! For those who would say the spelling is incorrect, we have consulted with our French Linguistics scholar and he assures us that the spelling is fine. In fact, he believes the missing 's' is due to the fact that the original creator of the seal was likely a craftsman with an average education in either France or
England, who, because the 's' is silent, may have thought there was no 's' in the word, hence the spelling. We could have changed it, but then it wouldn't be true to the original now, would it?!
