These two extraordinary 'sisters' are hand-carved into tablets of Topaz with Imperial hues, circa 1930s. Each piece had double-sided tables and faceted crowns, posing a challenge in how to best highlight their unique facets. We chose to create faceted bezels that mimic the faceting, providing an extraordinary play of light as they move, each facet firing off along with its nearby gold facet as the light moves over each piece! The top clusters boast 5.41ctw of Morganite pears in hues of soft ballet pinks with a touch of salmon pink here and there, accented by twinkling, fiery white diamond. Additional rose cut diamonds sparkle more demurely on separate white gold French wires for a more casual look because a lady should have options, n'est pas?!? The overall effect is as light and airy as a Pavlova confection!

The Topaz intaglios were hand-carved in the famed Idar-Oberstein region in Germany (c. 1930’s), famed for its master stone carvers. They are removable and may be worn on both the Morganite clusters OR on the French wires with rose cut diamonds OR the clusters may be worn alone as an elegant pair of stud earrings! Set in 18k rose and white gold, there are Morganites (5.14ctw) & diamonds (.12ctw), and rose cut diamonds on the separate french wires (.21ctw).
