A pristine one-of-a-kind antique glass seal in one of our favorite colors, deep teal! This beauty is a Rebus - a word puzzle that contains a message made of words and images. During Georgian and Victorian times, professing one's feelings was simply not done, so there were various means of telling someone how you felt without being direct and forthright. In this case, we have the word My, then a letter envelope, and underneath that the letters I N V. When deciphered, this Rebus is saying, My Letter I Envy, meaning the sender wished that they could go to whomever the letter was going to. If we received a letter with a wax seal stating this missive, it would make our heart go pitter patter!
